Who can participate?

Using North Star Windows & Doors and a participating contractor, Canadian homeowners who live in a detached home, townhome or semi can take part in the Canada Greener Homes Grant for a maximum rebate of $5,600. Ontario homeowners that are also Enbridge Gas customers may qualify for an increased rebate up to a maximum of $10,600.

About the Canada Greener Homes Grant and Home Efficiency Rebate + Program (HER+)

Receive up to $325 per window** – to a maximum of $10,000 when you upgrade to ENERGY STAR®’s Most Efficient high-performance windows and doors through the enhanced HER+ rebate program.

EnerGuide evaluations (worth up to $600) are also available to help homeowners plan their retrofit projects.

The total amount that participants are eligible for is $5,600 under the non-Enbridge Gas initiative issued by the Canada Greener Homes Grant, and $10,600 under the new enhanced Home Efficiency Rebate Plus (HER+) program for current Enbridge Gas customers within Ontario.

*Note: The grant applies to each rough opening – bay or bow windows with more than one glass unit qualify as one rough opening.

**Non-Enbridge Gas customers across Canada may qualify for rebates up to $250 per rough opening, to a maximum of $5,000. Current Enbridge Gas customers in Ontario may qualify for rebates up to $325 per rough opening, to a maximum of $10,000. EnerGuide evaluations up to a maximum rebate of $600 are available.
